Validity

LEGO gift cards and e-Gift Cards do not expire and carry no fees, except where the law requires otherwise.

How to redeem

  1. Use the genuine national LEGO Gift Card number and PIN in the gift-card payment fields on the supported LEGO.com site; apply the card before completing payment.
  2. Keep any unused balance on the same card credential for a later eligible purchase. If the basket exceeds the balance, another valid payment method is required; partial invoice payment and combining with PayPal are excluded.
  3. For an eligible LEGO Store purchase, present the physical card or electronic-card image. Telephone ordering requires the 19-digit number and PIN.

Which Lego card should I buy?

Buy the card for the LEGO.com country where the recipient orders: a UK card also covers Ireland and a Swedish card also covers Denmark, but a German card will not pay on LEGO.com France. The balance is issued in the currency of the buying country; where a card covers two countries (UK and Ireland, Sweden and Denmark), LEGO converts at a market rate and keeps any remainder in the card's original currency.

Germany has its own euro ceiling

A shared currency does not make all national LEGO gift forms identical. Germany’s input allows EUR 10–250 in multiples of EUR 5. EUR 65 is an example consistent with the displayed conditions; it is not a stock confirmation or a claim that every service offers that exact value. A form in another euro country may show another ceiling. Choose the German programme by its actual national issue and redemption conditions rather than assuming a euro label alone identifies an interchangeable European gift.

Use the repeated Germany-only provisions

The national rules repeatedly describe German-issued EUR cards as usable only in Germany. They distinguish the local retail issuer LEGO GmbH from the online issuing company LEGO System A/S. One copied issuer sentence mentions purchases for use in the United Kingdom, while adjacent and repeated provisions specifically state Germany. That isolated reference is not reliable permission to spend a German gift in Britain. The practical reading retained here is the explicit German regional scope. A recipient planning an overseas purchase should not rely on that publication anomaly to resolve eligibility.

A German LEGO Store and a different toy retailer are separate

The German programme names LEGO.com, LEGO Stores in Germany and telephone orders. It excludes LEGOLAND parks, Discovery Centres and purchases of LEGO goods from third-party sellers. This matters even when the recipient can see the same model in several shops: a card payment is accepted by the named programme, not by the product box. Before setting a contribution against another retailer’s advertised price, identify a supported purchase route. The gift does not transfer a third party’s price, promotion or reservation into an eligible LEGO order.

Enter the gift details before completing payment

The online instructions require selecting gift-card payment and supplying the number and PIN in their respective fields. A telephone order uses the 19-digit number and PIN, while store payment uses the actual card or an electronic image. Treat those details as the means of accessing the money. If a recipient prints an email to take shopping, the printout and original email still point to one gift balance. Keeping another copy is useful for record handling, but it neither duplicates the stored credit nor provides an independent second gift.

Handle a remainder and a shortfall differently

An unspent balance remains accessible with the original gift details for another purchase. If an eligible order exceeds the credit, another supported payment method is required. The FAQ excludes combining the gift with PayPal and disallows partial payment by invoice. For illustration, EUR 75 less a EUR 58 eligible same-currency purchase leaves EUR 17; that remainder does not need to match the five-euro purchase increment. The increment governs buying the new gift, rather than rounding every later product charge or erasing a smaller residual balance.

A card-count rule is separate from a monetary maximum

The national FAQ allows up to three cards on an order. It does not follow that the largest theoretical sum is an advertised gift product, or that any basket paid with three credentials is automatically valid. Each contribution must be genuine and usable, and the supported tender combination still matters. Keep a record of which card supplied which part of the money if several gifts are applied. The confirmed EUR 250 single-input maximum, the number of cards on an order and the eventual merchandise total answer different purchasing questions.

Validity and loyalty have independent rules

German gift terms say the card and unused portions have no expiration except where legally required, and the FAQ says there are no card fees. These statements do not create a guaranteed product price or an entitlement to an unrelated promotion. Insiders points are not earned when the gift is bought; an eligible merchandise purchase with it may earn points under the loyalty terms. A recipient should therefore decide on the merchandise and reward account separately from accepting the money. Neither the euro amount nor the no-expiration clause fixes a future points benefit.

An online withdrawal referral is not a blanket refund

The FAQ refers online gift purchases to the general withdrawal conditions and treats store-bought gifts as nonreturnable except where law requires. Cash exchange is separately restricted in the gift rules. For a merchandise return funded by the gift, the described refund is another LEGO gift-card balance. Someone giving money for a particular model should distinguish changing their mind about the gift from returning that later model, and retain the relevant purchase records for whichever situation actually occurs.

Lego Germany: questions

Can I buy a Lego gift card for Germany with Bitcoin or USDT?

Yes. Lego Germany comes in €10–€250 (about US$11.24–US$280.94); you pay that face value in Bitcoin or USDT (USDC, ETH, SOL and LTC work too).

Does a Lego Germany code work in another country?

German LEGO cards are issued in euros and work only in Germany: on LEGO.com, by phone and in LEGO Stores in Germany. Buy the card for the country and currency of the account that will redeem it.

Do Lego Germany gift cards expire?

LEGO gift cards and e-Gift Cards do not expire and carry no fees, except where the law requires otherwise.

How do I redeem a Lego code from Germany?

Sign in to the Lego account and enter the code at lego.com: Use the genuine national LEGO Gift Card number and PIN in the gift-card payment fields on the supported LEGO.com site; apply the card before completing payment.

More questions about this card

Does EUR mean this card works across the euro area?

No. The repeated German rules limit German-issued EUR cards to Germany.

Does the UK sentence in the German terms permit British use?

The adjacent and repeated German-issued-card clauses say Germany only. The isolated issuer sentence is retained as a publication anomaly, not an extra territory permission.

Must a remaining balance stay in EUR 5 multiples?

The printed increment concerns the gift purchase input. A hypothetical partial purchase can leave a smaller remainder, which remains attached to the existing card.
