How to redeem
- Use the genuine national LEGO Gift Card number and PIN in the gift-card payment fields on the supported LEGO.com site; apply the card before completing payment.
- Keep any unused balance on the same card credential for a later eligible purchase. If the basket exceeds the balance, another valid payment method is required; partial invoice payment and combining with PayPal are excluded.
- For an eligible LEGO Store purchase, present the physical card or electronic-card image. Telephone ordering requires the 19-digit number and PIN.
Which LEGO card should I buy?
Buy the card for the LEGO.com country where the recipient orders: a UK card also covers Ireland and a Swedish card also covers Denmark, but a German card will not pay on LEGO.com France. The balance is issued in the currency of the buying country; where a card covers two countries (UK and Ireland, Sweden and Denmark), LEGO converts at a market rate and keeps any remainder in the card's original currency.
The Canadian amount is not an American price
The country selector on the national purchase form identifies Canada, and its amount field gives a minimum of 10, maximum of 500 and multiples of 5. Read that together with the Canadian programme’s CAD denomination. A CAD 55 contribution fits those conditions; the same number on a US gift represents a different currency. The form describes a choice of monetary contribution, not a promise of a particular set. Decide what to contribute in Canadian dollars before comparing a recipient’s proposed basket with prices displayed in another national shop.
Travel to the United States is expressly addressed
Canada’s FAQ says a card bought in either Canada or the United States can be spent on the two national LEGO websites and in LEGO Stores in either country. The issuer describes a market-rate exchange calculation for cross-currency spending. Any residue remains denominated in the currency originally issued. For a Canadian recipient shopping while visiting the US, the useful question is how much the eligible US transaction will deduct from the CAD balance. A visible dollar symbol by itself cannot answer that question or establish acceptance in a third country.
Match the place where the recipient will shop
Official LEGO retail shopping and shopping for LEGO products at another merchant are different transactions. The card rules exclude third-party shops, LEGOLAND and Discovery Centers, even where the products or attraction carry familiar branding. A recipient who has already chosen a set from another retailer should check whether the same intended purchase can be made through a supported LEGO channel before counting the gift toward it. The documented Canadian/US permission does not turn the card into a general toy-store payment method or an attraction voucher.
Electronic and postal presentation do not change the value
The purchase page shows electronic and physical formats, while the observed amount input belongs to the email-gift view. The FAQ describes ordinary untracked postal delivery for physical cards and a separate electronic delivery process. Those issuer delivery descriptions concern purchases from LEGO itself; they are not a shipping promise for this service. A printed electronic gift remains tied to its original number. Sending a copy to the recipient or keeping a backup should therefore be treated as handling the same credential, rather than allocating additional spending money.
Keep the number and PIN through partial use
Online payment requires the card details and PIN in the gift-card fields. The telephone process asks for a 19-digit number together with the PIN, and an eligible store can accept the card or electronic image. If a hypothetical CAD 60 balance pays an eligible CAD 42 order, CAD 18 remains on that same gift account. The calculation assumes a same-currency purchase and illustrates a remainder; it is not a product quotation. Retain the original details so the recipient can check and use the residue later.
Combine gifts without choosing an unsupported tender
The Canadian FAQ permits up to three gifts on one order. That can be useful when several people contribute, but the payment method for any shortfall still needs attention. The page excludes using the card together with PayPal and rejects partial invoice payment. Adding the available balances and checking the total is only the arithmetic stage; the supported checkout has to accept the proposed combination too.
Separate spending flexibility from loyalty rewards
The issuer states that the card and unspent balance have no ordinary expiry, subject to its legal qualification, and that no fees are applied. This gives a different kind of flexibility from a reward or limited promotion. Insiders points are not awarded for buying the gift; eligible merchandise spending can earn points under the loyalty terms. Consequently, choosing a later purchase date does not preserve a particular product offer, stock position or loyalty promotion.
A merchandise refund remains a gift balance
The Canadian FAQ says that a refund for an item purchased with gift-card funds is issued as a LEGO gift card. Before giving a contribution for a specific model, consider whether the recipient would be content to keep gift value if that model is later returned. Keep the order information alongside the credential, without sharing the details that permit spending. No national programme page authenticates a third-party code, proves its activation or confirms that a seller has a particular card ready for delivery.
LEGO Canada: questions

Do LEGO Canada gift cards expire?
LEGO gift cards and e-Gift Cards do not expire and carry no fees, except where the law requires otherwise.
How do I redeem a LEGO code from Canada?
Sign in to the LEGO account and enter the code at lego.com: Use the genuine national LEGO Gift Card number and PIN in the gift-card payment fields on the supported LEGO.com site; apply the card before completing payment.
More questions about this card
Is a Canadian LEGO gift restricted to Canada?
The Canadian FAQ expressly includes US and Canadian LEGO websites and stores.
Does printing the email make a second card?
No separate balance follows from another printout. The original gift number and PIN still identify the stored funds.
Do I earn points when giving the gift?
The FAQ excludes Insiders points on the gift purchase itself. Eligible spending on LEGO merchandise may earn points under the loyalty programme.
