How to redeem
- Use the genuine national LEGO Gift Card number and PIN in the gift-card payment fields on the supported LEGO.com site; apply the card before completing payment.
- Keep any unused balance on the same card credential for a later eligible purchase. If the basket exceeds the balance, another valid payment method is required; partial invoice payment and combining with PayPal are excluded.
- For an eligible LEGO Store purchase, present the physical card or electronic-card image. Telephone ordering requires the 19-digit number and PIN.
Which Lego card should I buy?
Buy the card for the LEGO.com country where the recipient orders: a UK card also covers Ireland and a Swedish card also covers Denmark, but a German card will not pay on LEGO.com France. The balance is issued in the currency of the buying country; where a card covers two countries (UK and Ireland, Sweden and Denmark), LEGO converts at a market rate and keeps any remainder in the card's original currency.
The purchase input supplies the increment
Spain’s general FAQ gives the endpoints of EUR 10 and EUR 400. The actual email-gift purchase form adds the missing detail that entered amounts must be multiples of five. EUR 125 is therefore an illustration that fits the published input; it is not proof of a separate preset button or of a seller holding that amount. Keep the distinction between a user-entered stepped range and a fixed catalogue of cards.
Use the country-of-purchase restriction
The detailed Spanish rules say the gift can be used only in the country where it was bought. They name LEGO System A/S as issuer for the Spanish programme. A euro amount alone does not extend that scope to other countries sharing the currency. For a recipient visiting Spain, identify the programme of the actual offered card before relying on it for a local purchase. An intention to shop in Spain does not transform a foreign-issued gift into a Spanish one, and the monetary value is not a general-purpose payment balance.
Check the participating shop rather than the logo
The main national clause describes participating Spanish LEGO Stores and points to the country-filtered directory. It specifically excludes Certified Stores and third-party shops, as well as LEGOLAND and Discovery Centres. Some detailed payment and card-count wording still names Barcelona. Those references should not be turned into a guarantee about every branded store in Spain or a newly invented list of accepted branches. For an in-person gift, identify the intended location in the official directory before deciding that this programme matches the recipient’s shopping plan.
Make sure the gift is actually applied online
The Spanish instructions explain the 19-digit gift number and PIN, followed by the apply-gift control at payment. Entering the details without applying them is not described as sufficient. For phone orders, Customer Service likewise uses the number and PIN. At a supported store, present the physical card or electronic image. The same credential continues to identify the remaining funds after a smaller purchase. Printing the email or keeping a second image does not create another gift with an independent balance, so protect copies accordingly.
A five-euro purchase step and a later remainder differ
For example, EUR 70 of genuine gift credit less an eligible EUR 54 purchase leaves EUR 16. This is a hypothetical balance calculation with no claim about a set’s actual price. The initial purchase increment does not mean that ordinary product charges must be multiples of five or that the smaller residue disappears. Remaining value stays available through the card account. A basket above the available balance needs a separate supported method, and the national FAQ excludes combining the gift with PayPal or using partial invoice payment for the difference.
Keep the one-card maximum separate from combination rules
The detailed Spanish terms cap the maximum purchase and total balance of an individual gift at EUR 400. The FAQ also allows up to three gifts for an eligible order, with some wording specifically referring to Barcelona store purchases. These figures govern different things: an individual gift’s value and the number of credentials that may contribute at payment. Before relying on several contributions, confirm that the intended channel supports the stated combination and the remainder of the basket.
No ordinary expiration does not freeze a shopping opportunity
The national rules include unused portions in their no-expiration statement, retaining the legal exception, and say no fees are applied. A recipient can separate holding the gift from choosing the final model without inventing an annual activation deadline. However, the gift does not preserve a particular product, promotion or delivery allocation. Buying it also does not earn Insiders points; eligible merchandise spending can earn points under the programme. That later loyalty transaction should not be confused with a reward already delivered to the giver when the gift was purchased.
Retain the legal qualifications on returns
The Spanish rules exclude ordinary card returns and cash exchange except where law requires, while preserving applicable distance or off-premises cancellation rights. This wording is more qualified than an unconditional refund promise for every activated or partly used credential. Identify the original purchase route and the actual request before relying on a remedy. A merchandise return follows a different transaction from buying the gift itself. Protect the credential and retain the relevant order records; the existence of this national programme does not authenticate a code or certify a third-party seller’s supply.

Do Spanish LEGO gifts work at every branded store?
No. The rules refer to participating stores and exclude Certified Stores and third-party shops. Some detailed wording names Barcelona; check the actual location through the directory.
Is the EUR 5 step actually published?

Can I exchange a partly used gift for cash?
The rules restrict ordinary cash exchange and retain legal exceptions.
