How to redeem
- Use the card for eligible products or services on Nike.com, the Nike App or the SNKRS channels listed in the Germany terms; another Nike gift card cannot be purchased with its balance.
- For a store purchase, first check gift-card acceptance under Additional services in the Nike store locator. Apply no more than ten cards to one transaction and cover a shortfall with another accepted payment method.
Which Nike card should I buy?
Buy the US card for a US Nike account or US store, and a European card (EUR, GBP, DKK or SEK) for Nike.com in Europe, ideally in the currency of the recipient's country site. Shoppers in Brazil need the nike.com.br card. Each Nike gift card holds its balance in the currency it was issued in: USD for US cards, and EUR, GBP, DKK, SEK or PLN for European cards (Nike caps European cards at €500, £500, DKK 4,000 or SEK 5,000).
The German form provides seven actual choices
Nike’s German email-card form labels seven choices in euros, from €25 through €250, including €50, €75, €100, €150 and €200. Selecting one is conceptually different from typing a custom figure in the separate Anderer Betrag field. The national terms provide a broader €5–500 interval, but neither those endpoints nor the custom field establish an allowed increment.
A card ceiling does not cap the shopping basket
Germany’s terms distinguish the amount held on a gift card from the cost of the order. The order total can include applicable VAT and shipping, and a second accepted payment method can pay anything the gift-card balance does not cover. Up to ten cards may be redeemed together. Consequently, the €500 card boundary does not by itself establish a €500 checkout limit. Conversely, having several cards does not remove the ten-card count restriction. Count the instruments and total the actual charges as separate checks.
Look for acceptance in the store’s own listing
For an in-person purchase, Nike points to its store locator and the Zusätzliche Services information. The German text expressly warns that not all Nike-owned stores accept gift cards. This prevents a common mismatch between a card chosen for a nearby shopping trip and a branch that lacks that service. Digital and physical cards are covered by the participating-store rules, but that does not extend them to an unrelated retailer merely because it sells the same footwear. Establish the location’s acceptance before planning the purchase around the card.
Online coverage is broad but specifically enumerated
The German policy includes Germany in a nineteen-country online redemption list and names Nike.com, the Nike App and SNKRS channels. It separately treats Israel, Norway, Switzerland and Türkiye as local-currency physical-card markets with in-store use. The sources do not explain a euro-to-pound conversion mechanism or an exchange rate for a German card. A trip or foreign website setting should not be treated as proof that a different-currency transaction will accept it.
Keep residual credit for another occasion
There is no expiry date under the German Nike gift-card terms, and the balance can support repeated purchases until exhausted. Consider an existing €150 card balance used for a €92 eligible order: €58 would remain, assuming no other deductions in that illustration. That remainder is credit for future purchases, not a cash refund. It cannot fund another Nike gift card.
Several gift cards can lead to one refund destination
When goods bought with a gift card are returned, the refund normally reaches that card. Nike can issue a new card if the original is unavailable. A purchase funded by several cards has another detail: the refund is allocated to the most recently purchased card, rather than necessarily being split back across every original balance. With a bank or PayPal contribution as well, that non-gift payment is refunded first up to its original amount. Preserve the purchase chronology and card information when tracking a return.
Buying the card and returning goods use different rules
An unused card bought from a Nike-owned platform has a withdrawal provision measured as fourteen working days after receipt. The German terms exclude cards bought in a physical Nike shop from that return permission, even when untouched. Part A does not govern a third-party seller’s gift-card sale, although Part B still governs card use. A retailer’s merchandise-return policy therefore should not be mistaken for a promise that the gift card itself can be cashed out.
Personal-use restrictions remain after successful delivery
Nike describes gift cards as personal-use instruments, prohibits resale and rules out using them to advertise or promote goods or services. It may reject or hold suspicious gift-card orders, including an incorrectly issued amount or suspected unlawful acquisition. The German policy also places safeguarding duties on the holder and does not guarantee replacement after loss or theft. Keep the receipt and the card credentials, and avoid sharing them beyond the intended recipient and legitimate payment process.

US and European Nike gift cards have no expiry date and the US terms state that no fees apply; Brazilian Cartão Presente cards are valid for 1 year from purchase.
How do I redeem a Nike code from Germany?

More questions about this card
Are €5 and €500 additional printed German preset buttons?
No. They are the national terms’ amount endpoints.
Does a €500 card maximum mean the basket cannot exceed €500?
An accepted additional payment method can cover a shortfall, and at most ten gift cards may contribute.
Where does a refund go after using several cards?
The German policy directs the refund to the most recently purchased gift card, or a new one where the originals cannot be located. Mixed payments have a separate non-gift-first rule.
