Enter the 12-digit code
Every PlayStation voucher code has 12 digits. A 10-digit code is a discount code, used at checkout instead.
Confirm
Select Continue or Redeem, then Confirm or Yes. The funds go to the wallet of the signed-in account.
Check the wallet
If the balance has not updated, sign out of PlayStation and sign back in to refresh your account.
Why does my PlayStation voucher code not work?
Check the region first: Sony says voucher codes can only be redeemed in the same PlayStation Store region, and account regions cannot be changed. Next, count the digits; wallet vouchers always have 12. Some retail vouchers state "no value until activated at register"; if one fails, ask the retailer to confirm it was activated. A code printed on a receipt is recovered through the retailer. Sony also notes that vouchers for age-restricted content cannot be redeemed in some countries.
What if the code says it has already been used?
A voucher works only once. Once redeemed, the code appears in the transaction details of the account that used it, so check the history of every account on your consoles. Sony cannot transfer funds or content between accounts. If a code from us shows as used before you entered it, email [email protected] with the order number. Our refund policy covers orders we cannot deliver.
Who can redeem a PlayStation wallet top-up code?
Under Sony's voucher terms, wallet top-up codes can only be redeemed by account holders aged 18 or over. Adult family managers can let child accounts use the family wallet and set a monthly spending limit. Wallet funds work only for digital products at PlayStation Store, not physical items or PlayStation Gear merchandise.

Can I change my PlayStation account region?
No. Sony says it is not possible to change the region of an account once it is created. Buy the voucher that matches your existing account country instead.
Do PlayStation Store vouchers expire?
Sony's voucher terms state no expiry date and make each code valid for one use. After redemption, wallet funds are non-refundable and non-transferable except where the law requires.
Can I redeem a voucher at checkout?
Yes, on PS5. At checkout, choose Redeem Codes and Gift Cards from the payment method menu, then enter the 12-digit code.
Will a UK voucher work on a US account?
No. Sony's US terms say the wallet only accepts prepaid cards from the same country as the account. The UK terms require an account registered in the UK.
