Does a Carrefour gift card work in every country?
No. Each country's Carrefour issues its own card, with its own rules. In Italy the card comes from GS S.p.A. and is valid only on Italian territory, Sicily excluded. In Brazil it pays across the Grupo Carrefour Brasil banners.
So buy the card of the country where the shopping happens. An Italian card will not pay in a Brazilian store, and a Brazilian card will not pay on carrefour.it. Formats differ too. Brazil's virtual card is a code sent by email with a password; the physical card has a barcode, magnetic stripe and password.
What can I buy with a Carrefour gift card in Italy?
Almost everything on carrefour.it and in participating Carrefour, Carrefour Market, Carrefour Express and Grossiper stores. The exceptions are over-the-counter medicines, fuel and third-party gift cards sold in store. You also cannot buy another Carrefour gift card with one.

How long is a Carrefour gift card valid?
Not long, so plan to spend it. Italian cards expire 12 months after activation unless the card says otherwise. Brazilian cards last 180 days from activation, purchase or the last top-up. Once a Brazilian card expires, the balance is gone and the card cannot be reused. Only physical Brazilian cards can be topped up in store.
How do I use a Carrefour gift card online?
Enter it at payment. On carrefour.it you can scan the code or type it into the app wallet, then pay any remainder by card or PayPal. In Brazil, type the card number and password in the payment field. You can combine up to three payment methods there, including gift cards and PIX.

Can I use a Carrefour Italy gift card in Sicily?

Can I buy fuel with a Carrefour gift card?

Can I use a Carrefour Brazil gift card online?
