Quick answer
Carrefour gift cards are spent directly, not loaded onto an account. In Italy, choose Gift Card Carrefour as the payment method at carrefour.it checkout and enter the card code. In store, hand the card over at the till. Carrefour explains online use at carrefour.it/gift-card-acquisti-online.html. Each country's card works only there: the Italian card covers Italy except Sicily.

Match the country
Use the card where it was issued. An Italian card pays at participating Carrefour, Carrefour Market, Carrefour Express and Grossiper stores and on carrefour.it.
Fill your basket
Shop online at carrefour.it or in a participating store. Online, the card covers groceries, electronics and toys.
Choose Gift Card Carrefour
When you confirm the order, select Gift Card Carrefour as the payment method and enter the code of your card.
Add more cards if needed
Combine up to 3 gift cards per online order. Pay any gap online by payment card or PayPal, or in store by cash or card.
Save it in the app
Add the card to the Carrefour app wallet under Mondo Promo by scanning the code or typing it in.
Is Carrefour gift card value stored on an account?
No. The value stays on the card and is deducted with each purchase. Italian terms let you spend the balance over several shops until the credit runs out. If a purchase costs less than the balance, reuse the card later within its validity period. If it costs more, pay the difference with cash or another accepted method.
You can check the remaining balance at any participating store or at carrefour.it/giftcard. The card gives no change and cannot be converted into money.
Can I use an Italian Carrefour gift card in France or Spain?
No. Each Carrefour gift card is issued by one country's Carrefour business, in its own currency. The Italian card is valid only on Italian territory, with Sicily and non-participating stores excluded. Brazilian cards work in Grupo Carrefour Brasil banners and on the Mercado section of the Carrefour site. Buy the Italian Carrefour gift card for Italy, and the Brazilian card for Brazil.
What if my Carrefour gift card is refused?
Check what you are buying. In Italy, the card does not pay for over-the-counter medicines, fuel or other gift cards sold in store. Online, it is not accepted on viaggi.carrefour.it, carrefour.mygiftcard.it or the photo printing partner site. Also confirm the store takes part; the list is at carrefour.it/giftcard. An expired card cannot be used, and the Italian card lapses 12 months after activation.
Carrefour Italy's customer service answers on toll-free 800 650 650, or through its customer care page. The card is a bearer document, so Carrefour will not replace it if lost or stolen. Carrefour codes bought here are handled by [email protected]; mention your order number.
