How to redeem
- At a Bennet hypermarket present the valid gift at the till; retain it if some value remains.
- For Bennet Drive hand the gift to staff before the receipt or invoice is issued. Do not use this route for Bennet a casa home delivery.
Choose the shopping route before preparing the basket
A Bennet gift suits an in-person hypermarket visit or the accepted Drive route. The distinction matters when the recipient normally switches between collecting groceries and having them brought home. Bennet a casa home delivery does not accept these gifts, so an attractive collection of products on the website does not make every fulfilment choice eligible. Decide which service the household will actually use before assigning gift money to the weekly shop. If the recipient has limited transport, check the practical collection arrangements first instead of assuming that a delivery address can simply replace a Drive collection point without changing the payment options.
Give the Drive team the gift before the receipt is issued
For Drive purchases the gift must reach staff before they issue the shopping receipt or requested invoice. Keep it accessible with the collection information rather than buried in a bag after another payment has already been completed. A recipient collecting several households’ orders should identify which actual transaction the gift is meant to fund. The important moment is payment processing, not the moment a product was added to a website list. If the order is changed during collection, ask staff to apply the gift to the final eligible total and retain the resulting receipt so the amount deducted can be checked afterwards.
Use the activation record to work out the deadline
The eighteen-month period begins when the gift is activated at a till. A later birthday, forwarded email or first shopping visit does not start a fresh period. Keep the activation receipt with the purchase confirmation and hand over the actual expiry information alongside the gift. This is particularly useful for a recipient who shops at Bennet only occasionally or is waiting until a holiday trip to use it. An expired gift cannot be reactivated, so a small remaining sum should not be left indefinitely simply because the original purchase was recent in the recipient’s memory. Check the deadline before planning the final visit.
Keep another prepaid card outside the intended purchase
Financial products and services are excluded from gift-funded spending, including Bennet gifts and various other prepaid entertainment or shopping cards. Giving Bennet value therefore does not provide an unrestricted way for the recipient to choose a different merchant’s credential later. If the intended present is a particular streaming service or gaming balance, choose that actual product rather than expecting a supermarket gift to be exchanged for it. When a grocery basket includes a prepaid product as well as ordinary household goods, establish the eligible portion with staff.
Treat physical shop menus and emailed gifts separately
The ordinary acquisition explanation lists twenty-five, fifty and one hundred euros for till-sold gifts, while the use explanation also mentions ten euros. These descriptions are not a promise that every seller or emailed gift carries the same available menu. Bennet also offers a printable gift sent by email, which the recipient takes to the till. Choose the precise value offered for the actual order, and confirm an unlisted amount before paying.
Check what remains after a smaller shopping trip
The gift can be exhausted in one purchase or used gradually. A recipient might spend part of it on fresh groceries now and keep the remainder for a later eligible visit, subject to the original expiry. Till staff can check its status and remaining value. For example, a purely illustrative seventy-two-euro balance followed by a twenty-nine-euro deduction leaves forty-three euros; those numbers explain subtraction and do not describe a sold gift denomination. Use the current remaining figure when budgeting the next shop. The amount originally given should not continue to be counted after some of it has already paid for goods.
Store the usable gift together with its payment record
Keep the credential readable and private throughout its useful life, alongside the activation record and shopping receipts. A printout and the email from which it was made refer to the same value, so multiple copies do not create additional gifts. Before a later Drive collection, bring the version staff can actually process and allow time to check any remaining balance. A family member who only needs to know the budget does not need a photograph exposing every redeemable detail. If a till cannot accept the gift, identify the shopping route, activation deadline, remaining value and excluded products before buying a replacement and potentially leaving two separate balances to manage.
