Pick the right account
Use the PLAYNC account you log in with on PURPLE. NCoin stays on the account that redeems it.
Sign in to account management
Log in to the NC account management page with that same PLAYNC login.
Choose redeem activation code
Select the activation code option, which NC uses to register both NCoin cards and bonus codes.
Enter the NCoin code
Type the digital code exactly as delivered and confirm.
Spend it on PURPLE
Open Aion, Lineage II or Blade & Soul NEO through PURPLE and buy items in the game shop with NCoin.
Do digital NCoin codes still work after the card shutdown?
Yes. NC discontinued all physical NCoin cards sold through retailers such as Target and GameStop on August 8, 2025. Its notice says digital NCoin codes bought online remain valid.
The move to PLAYNC accounts did not break them either. NC's PURPLE migration guide says unused NCoin codes continue to function after migration, and purchased NCoin transferred automatically.
Can I use NCoin on Steam or in other currencies?
No for Steam. NC states that NCoin is only available on PURPLE, even for Blade & Soul NEO players who also play through Steam.
The PURPLE shop shows prices in US dollars. Dynamic currency conversion is supported only for euros and British pounds. Every NCoin code we sell is a US-dollar digital code, so the country you choose on our site does not change what it adds.
What if my NCoin code shows an error?
Work through these points.
- Wrong account: the code went onto a different PLAYNC login than the one you play on.
- Balance not updated yet: NC notes the NCoin balance can take several minutes to refresh.
- Game outside PURPLE: NCoin is spent in NC's PURPLE shops, not through Steam.

Yes. The US NCoin code, also listed for Germany, is charged at its dollar face value. Solana and the other supported coins work, and orders up to US$1,000 need no KYC. Expect the code in your client area within 24 hours of payment confirmation, then redeem it on your PLAYNC account.
