Choose an experience
Find a tour, ticket or activity on getyourguide.com, then select the date and number of participants.
Reach checkout step two
Continue to the second step of checkout, where GetYourGuide asks for your personal details.
Open the code field
In the Order Summary on the right, click the link Enter gift or promo code, just above the Subtotal.
Redeem the code
Type the 12-digit code and click Redeem. The subtotal updates to reflect the code's value.
Complete the booking
Finish with your chosen payment method for any amount the code does not cover.
Do I enter a GetYourGuide code at checkout or in my account?
At checkout. You add the code in the Order Summary while booking, and it lowers the booking price. GetYourGuide says the recipient can use the code to book one or more experiences, so value left after one booking can go toward the next. To see what remains, open the Help Center at getyourguide.com/contact/, search for Gift Card and use the Gift card value and validity tool. It shows the current value and how long the code stays valid.
Can I use a GetYourGuide gift card in another country?
Yes. GetYourGuide places no restriction on where you spend the card, across more than 150,000 tours, activities and attractions. The only limit is the platform: cards redeem on GetYourGuide alone. The buyer picks the currency when the card is issued, so a German card holds euros and a Swiss card holds francs. Either one can pay for a cooking class in Bangkok or a boat trip in Lisbon.
What if my GetYourGuide code does not work?
Start with the basics. Codes have 12 digits, and they go in the Enter gift or promo code field during checkout. Next, run the code through the Gift card value and validity tool in the Help Center. It shows the remaining value and the expiry date. A code expiring in less than six months can be extended there, except codes that are part of corporate benefits. If it still fails, use Contact us at the bottom of the GetYourGuide Help Center. For a GetYourGuide code from our shop, email [email protected] and add the order number.
