Can I use a GetYourGuide gift card in any country?
Yes. GetYourGuide says there are no restrictions on where you spend the card. It applies to more than 150,000 tours, activities and attractions in over 12,000 destinations. A card bought in Germany can pay for a Colosseum tour in Rome or a boat trip in Lisbon.
The one rule: GetYourGuide gift cards can only be redeemed on the GetYourGuide platform.
What currency is a GetYourGuide gift card in?
The buyer picks it. When ordering, GetYourGuide asks you to select the currency the card is issued in, using the currency symbol at the top of the page. Pick the currency you plan to book in, such as euros for most of Europe or francs for Switzerland.
The card has no fixed amount list. In euros and dollars the presets run from 50 to 250, and any custom value is allowed.
How do I redeem a GetYourGuide gift card?
Book an activity and go to the second checkout step. Above the Subtotal in the Order Summary, click Enter gift or promo code, type the 12-digit code and press Redeem. The GetYourGuide help centre has the same steps and a balance checker.
One exception: gift codes cannot be used with Reserve Now & Pay Later.
How long is a GetYourGuide gift card valid?
Three years from purchase. The general terms go slightly further: cards lapse three years after the end of the year they were bought. If a code expires within six months, the help centre tool can extend it. Corporate benefit codes cannot be extended. If you later cancel an activity, refunds go to the original payment method, or to GetYourGuide refund gift cards if you choose them.

GetYourGuide gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase (the terms void them 3 years after the end of the purchase year), and codes expiring in less than six months can be extended, except corporate benefit codes.

Can I use a GetYourGuide gift card with Reserve Now & Pay Later?
No. GetYourGuide says gift codes cannot be used with Reserve Now & Pay Later, which charges your card 72 hours before the activity. Pay at booking instead and enter the code in the Order Summary. Our Germany GetYourGuide cards work this way.
Can I extend a GetYourGuide gift card that is about to expire?
Yes, if it expires in less than six months. Enter the code in the gift card tool on GetYourGuide's help centre to see its value and validity and request an extension. Codes from corporate benefit schemes cannot be extended.
Do I have to choose a specific tour when giving a GetYourGuide gift card?
No. GetYourGuide lets the recipient pick any experience, and the code can cover one or several bookings. If you want to suggest an activity, use Give this as a gift on its page. Our Italy GetYourGuide cards leave the choice to the recipient.
Which GetYourGuide card should I buy for Switzerland?
