Can I use an Etam card in several purchases?
Yes. Etam's terms say the card can be used once or several times until its credit runs out, and topped up with any other payment method. Check the balance on etam.com or in an Etam store.
Online, one rule matters: using several e-gift cards for the same purchase is not allowed on the website. If you hold two, spend them on separate orders, or use them in a store.
When does an Etam gift card expire?
Twelve months after Etam emails it to the recipient. A card bought in a store counts from its purchase date. Etam may schedule the email anywhere from 2 hours to 6 months after purchase, so the clock starts at delivery.
After expiry, any remaining amount is lost, with no replacement or refund. The same applies if the card is lost, stolen or hacked, because Etam accepts no stop on a card and does not check the user's identity.
What if Etam refuses my gift card?
Check the date first, then the 19 digits and PIN. Make sure you are not adding a second e-card to the same online order.
Refunds follow strict rules. A store purchase paid by gift card can only be exchanged or refunded with a new gift card. An online purchase paid by e-card is refunded as a new e-card, sent to the email on the order. For anything else, use the 'Nous contacter' section of etam.com. A code ordered from us is supported at [email protected].
