Can I use an Uber gift card for Uber Eats too?
Yes. An Uber gift card adds Uber Cash in the US, or Uber Money in the UK and EEA. That one balance pays for Uber rides and Uber Eats orders, and leftover value rolls over to your next trip or order.
A few uses are excluded. Uber lists Family Profiles, scheduled rides and university campus card rides. In the UK, cards redeemed as Uber Credits do not apply to Uber Eats grocery orders or Uber Boat trips.
Does a US Uber gift card work in Europe or the UK?
No. Uber says gift cards work only in the country where they were bought, and only where payment is taken in the card's original currency. US terms state that Uber Cash may not be redeemed outside the United States.
Euro cards follow the EEA terms of Uber B.V. They are exchanged for Uber Money, usable where Uber Money and Uber or Uber Eats run. So match the card to the country and currency in which the rides or meals are paid.
How do I redeem an Uber gift card?
Open the Uber or Uber Eats app, go to Account, then Wallet, and add a gift card. Type the code without spaces and tap Add. Uber's gift card help page shows the same flow.
Some countries ask you to open an Uber Money account first, with identity checks above certain balances. Once added, the value cannot move to another account.
Do Uber gift cards expire?
It depends on where the card was issued. US gift card value never expires and carries no fees. French EUR cards expire one year after purchase, and German EUR cards three years after purchase, unless local law sets a longer period. Redeem a euro card soon after delivery so the clock does not matter.

How much Uber gift card value can one account hold?

Do I need to verify my identity to redeem an Uber gift card in Europe?

What does "Gift code already redeemed" mean on Uber?
