Validity
US and Canadian Sephora cards never expire and carry no fees; Australian, German, Swedish and Danish cards are valid for three years, and French e-cards for one year from receipt by email.
How to redeem
- Use the French programme on sephora.fr, the Sephora France app or an eligible French/Monaco/Luxembourg store.
- At payment, apply the gift-card balance to eligible merchandise, check the expiry and remaining value, and use an accepted extra tender only for any shortfall.
Which Sephora card should I buy?
Match the recipient's Sephora country: a US card covers US and Canadian stores and sites, while a French, German, Swedish, Danish or Australian card only works on that country's site and in its stores. The balance is held in the issuing country's currency; US and Canadian cards work in both countries at the daily exchange rate, while European and Australian cards stay in their own country.
Six electronic buttons are not the physical-card menu
The captured French e-card form exposes six separate buttons: EUR 20, 30, 55, 100, 150 and 200. Its custom-entry field has EUR 20–200 bounds but no published increment. A custom boundary does not supply every intermediate selectable value. The national sales terms separately identify EUR 20, 50 and 100 as online physical-card presets, and EUR 20–999 as in-store physical purchase bounds. Keep these three acquisition formats apart. In particular, adding the physical EUR 50 button to an electronic preset list would create a combined menu the digital form itself does not print.
France includes two neighbouring store territories
The French digital programme covers Sephora stores in France, Monaco and Luxembourg as well as sephora.fr and the Sephora France app. It is not an authorization to spend on every Sephora website that prices goods in euros. For a recipient visiting Monaco, the useful territorial fact is the express store inclusion, rather than the currency alone. Conversely, a German euro listing does not inherit these French permissions.
The start of the one-year period depends on the format
The specific electronic form starts its one-year validity when the gift is received by email. The French sales terms use purchase-date wording for physical cards and also contain a general purchase-date sentence. Preserve those statements rather than choosing a universal first-use date. A scheduled electronic present can have different purchase and email events; keep both pieces of information with the credential. Nothing in the captured wording says that checking a balance, printing the email or making a small redemption starts a new year. An already existing card needs its actual recorded expiry checked.
Do not promise five-card checkout from an inconsistent form
There is a genuine inconsistency inside the captured electronic form. An older top note says one card online, while the footer and current national sales terms allow up to five cards with a combined EUR 1,000 limit per eligible purchase or order. Someone collecting several gifts should establish the intended checkout’s actual rule before constructing a basket around all of them. The merchant’s euro combination limit is also different from Gifts With Crypto’s whole-order ceiling expressed in USD.
Collection and courier exclusions affect how you shop
The card cannot pay for the specified Click & Collect and express courier orders, and its balance cannot buy another gift card. These exclusions concern the merchandise-order route, not just the type of product selected. A shopper can therefore find an eligible beauty item yet choose a delivery method that makes gift-card payment unavailable. Before blaming the code, check the basket’s delivery arrangement as well as the payment field. Store redemption within the documented territory is a different route; changing the fulfilment method is not proof that an excluded online checkout will accept the same balance.
Partial use preserves money, not a new validity period
A genuine French gift balance can contribute to more than one eligible purchase, with an accepted other tender covering a shortfall. As simple arithmetic, using EUR 37 from a hypothetical EUR 100 balance leaves EUR 63. The euro balance is the merchant credit, while the crypto amount used to acquire a gift is a separate payment. Keep the remainder and the original validity information together, particularly when the recipient intends to save part of the gift for a later visit.
Returning goods does not refund the original gift purchase
The French form describes eligible merchandise refunds as value returned to a gift card or store credit. It separately excludes ordinary cash change or a card refund in the specified loss, theft, damage and expiry situations. Those are different events from a seller being unable to provide an ordered, undelivered gift. A return can change where the value is held without making the original electronic gift redeemable in an excluded country, courier flow or expired period.
Sephora France: questions
Can I buy a Sephora gift card for France with Bitcoin or USDT?
Yes. Sephora France comes in €20–€200 (about US$22.48–US$224.76); you pay that face value in Bitcoin or USDT (USDC, ETH, SOL and LTC work too).
Does a Sephora France code work in another country?
French Sephora e-cards work in Sephora stores in France, Luxembourg and Monaco, on sephora.fr and in the Sephora France app, up to five cards and €1,000 per purchase. Buy the card for the country and currency of the account that will redeem it.
Do Sephora France gift cards expire?
US and Canadian Sephora cards never expire and carry no fees; Australian, German, Swedish and Danish cards are valid for three years, and French e-cards for one year from receipt by email.
How do I redeem a Sephora code from France?
Sign in to the Sephora account and enter the code at sephora.fr: Use the French programme on sephora.fr, the Sephora France app or an eligible French/Monaco/Luxembourg store.
More questions about this card
Is EUR 50 one of the six digital presets?
Not in the captured digital form. EUR 50 is one of the separate online physical-card presets; the electronic form instead prints EUR 20/30/55/100/150/200.
Does a French e-card expire one year after first use?
No such reset is established. The specific digital form starts the year at email receipt; physical-card terms use purchase, and the generic wording is retained separately.
Can I always combine five French cards online?
Current terms and the footer allow five totalling EUR 1,000, but an older top note says one online card. The inconsistency is explicit, so no universal five-card acceptance is promised.
