How to redeem
- Use the Primark card at a store in Spain, respecting the country and currency on the card.
- Present the electronic card on a mobile device or a printed copy to the cashier for full or partial payment.
- Use the national balance checker or a till to check the remaining balance and the individual expiry information.
Which Primark card should I buy?
Buy the card of the country where the recipient shops in person: a UK card for UK and Northern Ireland stores, a US card for US stores, an Ireland card for Penneys. Euro cards are not interchangeable: a French card does not work in Germany. A Primark eGift card holds its balance in the currency of the issuing country (GBP, USD, EUR or PLN) and is spent only in that country's Primark stores, with no conversion for use abroad.
Spain has an actual electronic menu, not only a maximum
The national eGift storefront names EUR 15, 25, 40, 50 and 100. Those five labelled buttons establish real preset contributions for the documented format. The boundaries therefore remain separate information rather than a list of cards invented between the endpoints. Someone comparing a EUR 40 gift with a clothing budget can identify that actual preset.
Participating Spanish stores define the intended use
The selected national terms limit the gift to Primark stores in Spain providing the gift-card service. They also exclude vending-machine purchases. The FAQ says it cannot be used in stores outside the stated territory. A gift budget for a visit to Portugal or another euro country should therefore not rely on the Spanish programme merely because its currency matches. Identify both the country and the supported gift service for the intended purchase.
Keep the email credential available for the cashier
The eGift instructions allow presentation on a mobile device or as a printed copy at a till. The recipient accesses the gift through the email link and its printable information. A paper copy can be convenient for a planned store visit, but it carries the same credit as the original electronic version. Making another print does not add money or create a separately assignable share. The documented use is in-store payment; an online gift purchase should not be interpreted as proof that the card pays for merchandise ordered through a website.
The Spanish deadline follows use or enquiry
The selected terms and FAQ both give 24 months from the last use or balance enquiry, followed by deduction of any remaining value. That is an activity-based expiry mechanism. A recipient planning occasional shopping should keep the current balance and individual expiry information rather than counting only from the sender’s purchase date. The programme does not say that simply keeping an email or looking at an old screenshot counts as a fresh enquiry. Free electronic delivery is separately documented and should remain limited to that particular service charge.
A partial purchase leaves the exact arithmetic remainder
Full or partial payment is permitted. For illustration, a genuine EUR 100 gift paying an eligible EUR 73 purchase leaves EUR 27. That remainder is not rounded to the original EUR 25 or EUR 40 buttons and does not become another preset being sold by the issuer. A till or the balance-checking route can provide current information on the actual card. Retain the gift after the first purchase and keep the receipt if the deduction needs to be identified later. The example is ordinary balance arithmetic and does not quote a current Spanish product price.
Settle the contribution before issuer payment
The FAQ says the gift amount cannot be changed after payment. Confirm the intended recipient address and contribution before completing an issuer order, especially when several relatives are planning separate presents. The electronic FAQ describes free email delivery and access to a PDF. Some general terms contain Royal Mail and normal two-working-day postal dispatch paragraphs, but those do not become a Spanish eGift timing guarantee. Use the electronic instructions for the chosen format. This service’s conditional delivery arrangement for an exact card is separate from the issuer’s postal or email order handling.
A lost gift is different from a returned garment
The web terms exclude replacement or refund for a lost, stolen or damaged card. They also restrict cash or voucher exchange and remove cancellation once any value is spent. That last condition does not by itself establish an unconditional refund entitlement for every unused credential. Protect the email information and retain its purchase record. If clothing bought with the gift needs to be returned, identify that merchandise transaction and the applicable return conditions.
Business enquiries do not waive the resale prohibition
The official gift website’s terms strictly prohibit resale of its electronic cards. A business contact link is not an authorisation for an independent service to redistribute them. These national programme facts therefore leave our commercial permission and usable stock unconfirmed. Any actual offer still needs to specify the exact credential and satisfy the selling conditions. The Spanish gift also represents a contribution rather than a product reservation. It does not guarantee that a particular clothing size, promotion or price will still be available on the day the recipient decides to shop.
