Six named physical products establish a useful subset

The American issuer’s featured collection names six distinct face values across several physical designs. A USD 30 Christmas Trees card and a USD 30 Celebrate Balloons card represent the same monetary value despite their different presentation. That is why the dataset deduplicates the values while preserving the scope of the source. It does not turn decorative variants into extra denominations or claim the collection is the entire programme. The linked electronic purchase site is a separate channel, whose current menu was not readable in the captured material. A physical preset therefore cannot certify a digital credential for sale.

The American website draws a clear Canadian boundary

The US FAQ explicitly says BestBuy.com does not accept Best Buy gift cards from Canada. A recipient entering a Canadian credential into the American payment form therefore needs more than a matching merchant name. The ordinary US terms instead describe purchases in US Best Buy stores and on the American website. Those statements do not create an international conversion service or guarantee Canadian-store use of an American balance. For a gift intended for a cross-border shopper, establish the card’s national programme and the intended checkout before comparing the native price with the crypto cost.

A five-hundred-dollar ceiling is not another preset

The ordinary terms print a maximum value of USD 500 per card and describe a USD 2,000 daily acquisition limit per person. Those numbers concern different levels of a purchase: the individual gift and the person’s total direct acquisition during a day. Neither one specifies a minimum or a custom increment. The seller’s separate whole-order USD limit remains an additional condition rather than an issuer denomination or permission to split an order.

Ten online cards and fifteen store cards count instruments

An online American merchandise transaction can use up to ten Best Buy gift cards under the ordinary terms; the store limit is fifteen. A card-count rule does not guarantee that every balance will combine successfully or that the final basket fits within those balances. At online payment the FAQ asks for the gift-card number and four-digit PIN. Review the amount applied from each accepted credential and arrange an eligible additional method for any remainder. The issuer describes unused value remaining on the last card used, so a partial purchase is different from losing the rest of the gift.

The ordinary retail programme requires issuer authority

The captured American terms state that offering, selling or soliciting the card without issuer authorisation is illegal. The FAQ also says the corporate gift-card department supplies businesses and excludes consumers and resellers from that department’s programme. A documentary listing, a published face value and even an unused credential would each leave that question unanswered.

A Best Buy balance cannot buy every code on the shelves

The national FAQ excludes buying other gift cards with this balance and describes gaming, app, prepaid open-loop and other code products within that exclusion. A retailer stocking a third-party card does not make its own closed-loop balance a funding method for that product. Check the proposed merchandise category before treating the gift as general spending money. The US programme also excludes paying a Best Buy credit-card account; a store purchase and repayment of a credit account serve different purposes.

Issuer merchandise refunds have their own destination

The FAQ describes value from relevant merchandise returns or cancelled orders being restored to a gift balance, with a stated processing period of about thirty minutes. If the gift was bought at another retailer, the replacement guidance points the customer back to that retailer in relevant cases. Keep the gift purchase record, the credential and the subsequent merchandise order together. Their relationship helps identify which party and which balance a support request concerns.

Ordinary American cards carry no expiration date or fees under the national terms. Promotional electronic rewards and staff-issued programmes have separate linked conditions, so the ordinary rule must not be applied solely because an email contains the Best Buy name. Even a genuine no-expiry gift can have been spent or fail to have been activated. Retain the actual issue information and verify the intended programme through the issuer’s legitimate support route when resolving an individual problem.
