Each card works only on the national shop named in its terms, such as zalando.de or zalando.co.uk.
Redeem a Zalando gift card step by step
Pick the matching shop
Open the Zalando website or app for the card's country. A German card belongs on zalando.de, a French card on zalando.fr.
Sign in
Log in to your Zalando customer account. The redeemed value is linked to that account.
Store the value
Go to 'My gift card total', type the code and click 'Redeem gift card'. The amount is added to your gift card total for your next order.
Or redeem at checkout
Fill your basket, enter the code in the 'Add a voucher/gift card' field and confirm with 'Redeem'. The value is applied to all eligible items.
Place the order
Pay any difference with another payment method, then click 'Buy now'. Until then, the 'X' in the price breakdown removes the gift card again.
Is the Zalando balance saved on my account or used at checkout?
Either, and both end in the same place. 'My gift card total' parks the value on your account until you shop. Checkout redemption applies it to the current basket.
If the order costs less than the card, the rest stays in your gift card total, under 'My Account'. Returned items paid with a gift card are refunded to that total, not in cash. There is no minimum order value.
The card only covers fashion sold by Zalando SE or other sellers on the site. Beauty products and electronics are excluded.
Which Zalando shop accepts my gift card?
Only the national shop in the card's terms, plus the Zalando app. Each country publishes its own conditions naming a single shop. A UK card spends in pounds on zalando.co.uk; a Swedish card stays on zalando.se.
Per-order caps differ too: €200 in gift cards in Germany, €150 in France and £170 in the UK. Several cards can be combined up to that cap. Across all shops, at most €5,000 of gift cards can be used per calendar month.
What if my Zalando code does not work?
Run through these checks first.
- Too soon: Zalando's German terms say gift cards are activated usually within 24 hours of purchase.
- Wrong shop: a code for zalando.fr will not redeem on zalando.de.
- Order already placed: gift cards apply only before you order, never retroactively.
- Category blocked: beauty or electronics items in the basket cannot be paid with a gift card.

How long is a Zalando gift card valid?
Five years from the purchase date in most shops, including Germany, France and the UK. Austrian cards for zalando.at can be redeemed for ten years. Unused value cannot be exchanged for cash.
Can I combine a Zalando gift card with a voucher code?
Yes. Only one voucher code fits per order, but it can sit alongside one or more gift cards.
Can I add a gift card to an order I already placed?
No. Zalando's terms say a gift card works only before you order. Redeem it first, then check out.
Can I pay for a Zalando gift card with crypto?
Yes. A German Zalando card costs exactly its euro face value, paid in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. There is no KYC up to US$1,000 per order, and the code reaches your client area within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
