Quick answer
Choose your event on the Ticketmaster site of the card's country and go to checkout. Pick Gift Card as the payment method, then enter the 16-digit number and the 3-digit PIN; UK fans can start at ticketmaster.co.uk/giftcards. Cards never cross borders: UK cards cover UK events priced in pounds, and Australian cards only Australian events.
Redeem a Ticketmaster gift card step by step
Use the card's own site
Go to ticketmaster.co.uk for a UK card, ticketmaster.de for a German card or ticketmaster.com.au for an Australian card.
Pick your tickets
Select the event and seats, then continue to checkout. Some events and ticket types may not accept gift cards.
Choose Gift Card
On the payment screen, select Gift Card as the method. The UK site labels the link Redeem Gift Card now.
Enter number and PIN
Type the 16-digit card number and the 3-digit security PIN. Plastic cards hide the PIN under a scratch panel; e-cards show it in the PDF.
Settle the rest
If the balance falls short, add another gift card or a credit or debit card. UK checkout takes up to five gift cards per transaction.
Does a Ticketmaster gift card go into my account?
No. Ticketmaster UK says gift cards cannot be saved to a Ticketmaster account, and the Australian site has no feature to store a balance. You enter the number at each checkout. One card can cover several bookings until the balance reaches zero or the card expires. UK terms require the full card balance to be used before another payment method is accepted. If gift cards cover a whole UK order, you still add a debit or credit card, but it is not charged.
Can I use a UK Ticketmaster gift card for events abroad?
No. UK cards only work for purchases in the United Kingdom, for participating events priced in pounds sterling. TicketWeb and Universe run separate checkouts and do not accept them. A German card redeems for events in Germany and Austria on ticketmaster.de and ticketmaster.at. Australian cards can only be used in the country they were bought in, including at participating outlets, venues and box offices.
What if my Ticketmaster gift card does not work?
Go through this list.
- PIN locked: three wrong security codes lock a UK card for 24 hours.
- Wrong number: UK card numbers begin with 0130, 533 or 633.
- Event not eligible: some events and ticket types refuse gift cards, and UK cards never pay for resale tickets or ticket insurance.
- Expired: UK cards expire 12 months after purchase, German cards 36 months after activation, and Australian cards 3 years after purchase.
- Shop-bought card: if the balance checker fails for a card bought at a retailer, take it back to that retailer.
UK fans can reach Fan Support through the Ticketmaster UK gift card help article. Australian queries go to [email protected] with your booking reference. For a card from Gifts With Crypto, email [email protected] and add your order number.
