Quick answer
Tezenis takes gift cards at the last step of checkout. Select a payment method, then type the e-gift card number, or the number plus PIN of a store card. Your checkout email has to match the one that received the card, and only one card is accepted per order. In a shop, show the email and read out the PIN. Tezenis lists these rules in its gift card FAQ on tezenis.com.
Use a Tezenis card online or in store
Match the country
Shop where the card was activated. A French card stays in France, while Italian cards also work in Hungary.
Log the right email
Give the checkout the same address that received the e-gift card.
Reach the final step
Pick your payment method, then enter the card number. Store-issued cards also need their PIN.
Settle any shortfall
Pay what the balance does not cover with another method accepted on the site.
Or pay at the till
In a Tezenis store, show the email and give the PIN. Italian and Spanish cards are not accepted in outlets.
How long does a Tezenis gift card last in each country?
It depends on where the card was activated.
- Italy: ten years from issue under the terms updated on 10 June 2026, valid in Italy and Hungary.
- Spain: no expiry. The card works in Spain and Italy until the balance runs out.
- France: three years from the purchase date on the receipt, valid in France only.
- Germany: three years. The e-gift card is for the tezenis.de online shop; the store card works in German and Italian stores.
No card can be reloaded, and value left after expiry is not refunded.
How do I check and spend the remaining Tezenis balance?
The balance stays on the card and can be spent over several purchases, online or in store. On the gift card page, choose physical or online card, enter the code and PIN, and the balance appears with its expiry date. The French site has a 'CARTE CADEAU' section, and German e-gift cards show their history under 'E-GIFT CARDS'.
In Italy, a card can also be loaded into the Tezenis Digital Wallet. From then on it is used only through the wallet, online and in store, and it keeps its original expiry date.
Why won't Tezenis accept my gift card?
Typical reasons, and what to do.
- Second card on the order: remove it, since checkout allows one.
- Email mismatch: switch to the address the e-gift card arrived at.
- Wrong country: a French card fails in Italy, and an Italian card fails in France.
- Altered card: damaged or handwritten cards are refused.
- Lost card: it cannot be blocked. Italian and Spanish terms allow a replacement only for cards issued online that still hold value.
Card complaints go to [email protected]. French customers can call 08 05 10 21 80, Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 16:00. Italy runs a paid line, 045 8613620, Monday to Saturday from 8:00 to 20:00, plus a contact form. For a code bought from us, write to [email protected].
Frequently asked questions
Can I use two Tezenis gift cards on one online order?
No. Tezenis accepts only one gift card or e-gift card per order. Spend the second card on a separate order, or use it in a store.
Can I buy a Tezenis gift card with another gift card?
No. The terms say cards cannot be used to buy other cards, and vouchers from special promotions cannot pay for them either.
Can I get a Tezenis gift card with crypto?
Yes. An Italian Tezenis card or a French one costs exactly its euro face value, paid in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. You skip KYC up to US$1,000, and the code is delivered to your client area within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
