Quick answer
Fill your cart on tannico.it, open checkout and find the 'Codice sconto o Buono Regalo' box on the right, above the total. Type the emailed code and press 'Applica'; the order total drops by the card's value. Tannico explains this in its FAQ at tannico.it/pages/faq. The euro card works on every Tannico group site, including tannico.it and tannico.es.
Redeem a Tannico gift card step by step
Set your shipping country first
Pick Germany, France, Austria, Belgium or another destination in the country selector. Changing country later can alter prices and empties the cart.
Choose your bottles
Add wines, spirits or accessories to the cart, then go to checkout.
Find the code box
After the order summary, look on the right above the total for 'Codice sconto o Buono Regalo'.
Type the code and press Applica
Once the page refreshes, a 'Sconto sull'ordine' line shows the amount deducted from the total.
Confirm address and payment
On the left of the page, confirm the shipping address and choose a payment method for any remainder, including shipping.
Can I spread a Tannico gift card over several orders?
Yes. Tannico describes the card as a full payment method that can be used partly or completely, depending on the credit available. Spend some on one order and keep the rest for the next, until the credit runs out.
The card also stacks with other promotions and discount codes, without limits. That makes it a good partner for a newsletter code.
If you return wine bought with the card, Tannico credits the refund back to that same gift card, within the limits of its return policy.
What can a Tannico gift card not pay for?
Shipping. Tannico's terms say the card cannot cover delivery costs, so keep another payment method ready for that line.
The card is also not refundable or convertible into cash. It expires 12 months after its issue date, and any credit left after that is gone. Plan larger orders, such as a mixed case for a celebration, within that year.
What if my Tannico code is not accepted?
Check these points before writing to support.
- Expired: more than 12 months have passed since the card was issued.
- Typo: copy the code from the email rather than retyping it.
- Order already placed: Tannico cannot change an order once it is confirmed and sent, so apply the code first.
- Shipping only: a basket whose unpaid balance is just the delivery fee cannot use the card.
