Match site and currency
Open the RoyalDesign website and currency your card was issued for, for example royaldesign.se for a card in Swedish kronor.
Choose design products
Pick lamps, glassware or furniture from more than 50,000 items, then go to checkout.
Enter the 16-digit number
Type the card number from the gift card email into the card number field.
Add the PIN if asked
Some cards carry a separate PIN. It differs from the card number, so put it in its own field.
Pay any difference
Cover the rest with another payment method. Unused value stays on the card for a later purchase.
Can I split a RoyalDesign gift card over several orders?
Yes. RoyalDesign's purchase terms let a card part-pay an order, and any excess stays on it until it expires two years after issue. You can also stack several gift cards on one purchase.

Does a Swedish RoyalDesign card work on the Norwegian site?
Do not count on it. RoyalDesign says a gift card cannot be assumed to work on other countries' websites, or at another brand in its group. Use it on the site and in the currency it was issued for.
That makes the version you buy important. Pick the card for the RoyalDesign site the recipient actually orders from.
What should I do if my RoyalDesign card shows an error?
Start with the basics.
- PIN in the wrong field: the PIN and the 16-digit number belong in separate boxes.
- Different market: check which site and currency the card is for.
