Quick answer
At checkout on pieces.com, select the 'Gift Card' payment option, type the 19-digit card number and the control code, and click 'Apply'. PIECES explains the steps at support.pieces.com. Online-bought cards also pay in PIECES stores. A Danish, Norwegian or Swedish card holds its home currency and is also accepted across some 30 further European countries.
Redeem a PIECES gift card step by step
Find the card number
Locate the 19-digit number printed under the barcode, in your PDF or on the card itself.
Note the control code
You also need the control code from the same PDF, or from the back of a plastic card.
Choose 'Gift Card' at checkout
Put jewellery, bags or clothes in your basket on pieces.com, go to checkout and select 'Gift Card'.
Apply and pay the rest
Enter both codes and click 'Apply'. Any difference can go on PayPal or a credit card.
Confirm on the final step
The reduced total may only show on the last checkout page, so finish the order there.
How do I check what is left on a PIECES card?
Use the PIECES balance page, for example pieces.com/da-dk/giftcardbalance. Type the 19-digit number from under the barcode and the control code. The same page lets you check a second card straight after.
Each order deducts only its own total, and the remaining value waits on the card for your next purchase. A single card holds at most DKK 3,000, NOK 4,000 or SEK 4,000, and it cannot be recharged.
Does a Norwegian PIECES card work in Sweden or Denmark?
Yes. Under the Norwegian terms, the card is valid at participating retailers in Norway and redeemable in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and some 30 more countries. It pays for clothing, shoes and accessories such as bags, jewellery, cosmetics and fragrances.
A Norwegian card lasts four years from purchase. Its credit is never paid out in cash, not even a small remainder. Swedish cards follow the same four-year rule, while Danish cards last three years.
What should I do if PIECES rejects my gift card?
Start with these checks.
- Klarna in the basket: a gift card cannot be combined with Klarna invoice or Klarna account. Pick PayPal or a credit card for the rest.
- More than five cards: that is the limit per order.
- Wrong number: the card number is the 19 digits printed under the barcode.
- Past its date: the expiry date is printed on the card.
PIECES runs a chatbot on its website day and night. Agents join it on weekdays except Wednesday, and on Saturday mornings. When they are offline, the bot creates a ticket, or you can use the webform on the PIECES contact page. Problems with a card bought in a shop go to that shop. For a code bought from us, email [email protected] with your order number.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I return something paid with a PIECES gift card?
You get a new gift card. If the card paid the whole order, the full refund comes as a fresh gift card. If you split the payment, the other method is refunded first and the remainder arrives as a gift card.
Can PIECES block a lost gift card?
No. PIECES says lost gift cards cannot be cancelled or replaced, and BESTSELLER's terms confirm cards cannot be blocked. Keep the PDF safe until the balance is spent.
Can I buy a PIECES gift card with crypto?
Yes. A Norwegian PIECES card or a Danish card is priced at its kroner face value and paid in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. Up to US$1,000 per order needs no KYC, and delivery to your client area follows within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
