Quick answer
Add children's clothes to your basket on nameit.com, choose 'Gift Card' as the payment method, enter the card number and control code and click 'Apply'. NAME IT's help centre at support.nameit.com describes these steps. Cards bought online are accepted in NAME IT stores as well. A card from Denmark, Norway or Sweden can also be redeemed in more than 30 other European countries.
Pay with a NAME IT gift card step by step
Apply promo codes first
A NAME IT voucher goes into the cart's 'Promo Code' field before checkout. The gift card comes later, as a payment method.
Go to payment
Continue to checkout and pick 'Gift Card' among the payment options.
Enter the card details
Type the card number and control code from the emailed PDF, or from the back of a plastic card, and click 'Apply'.
Settle what is left
Pay any remaining amount by PayPal or credit card. Klarna invoice and Klarna account do not combine with a gift card.
Review the final page
The reduced amount may first show on the last checkout step. Place the order there.
How long is a NAME IT card valid, and can I get leftover value back?
Danish cards run three years from purchase; Norwegian and Swedish cards four years. The exact date is printed on the card, and the remaining balance stays on it until then.
Denmark is the only one of the three with a payout route. Up to one year after expiry, a Danish holder can ask BESTSELLER to redeem the remaining value free of charge at [email protected]. A payout requested before expiry can cost up to DKK 25. Norwegian and Swedish credit is never paid out.
Caps differ as well: DKK 3,000 per Danish card, NOK 4,000 or SEK 4,000 in Norway and Sweden.
Can I use a NAME IT card in a store or abroad?
Yes. NAME IT says cards bought online work on its webshop and in all its physical stores. The Store Locator in the website footer finds the nearest one.
A Danish card is also redeemable in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and around 30 further European countries. Norwegian and Swedish cards travel in the same way. Purchases are limited to clothing, shoes and accessories.
What if NAME IT does not accept my code?
Check these points.
- Typed in the promo field: the 'Promo Code' box is for vouchers only. Use the 'Gift Card' payment option instead.
- Too many cards: an order takes up to five gift cards.
- Expired: compare today's date with the one printed on the card.
- Lost: BESTSELLER cards cannot be blocked, so a lost code cannot be cancelled.
The chat assistant on nameit.com works around the clock and hands you to an agent during opening hours, or opens a ticket. A webform is listed on the NAME IT contact page. For a store purchase, the store's details are usually on your receipt. For a code bought from us, write to [email protected].
Frequently asked questions
Can I give a NAME IT gift card to someone else?
Yes. BESTSELLER's terms say the cards are not personal and are transferable. Whoever holds the card number and control code can spend the balance, so share them only with the recipient.
Does a Danish NAME IT card work in Finland?
Yes. The Danish terms list Finland among the countries where a card bought and activated in Denmark can also be redeemed, alongside Sweden, Norway and Germany.
How do I get a NAME IT gift card with crypto?
Order a Danish NAME IT card or a Norwegian one. You pay its kroner face value in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL or LTC. There is no KYC up to US$1,000, and the code appears in your client area within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
