Open the store

Where does RP from a prepaid card go?
Straight into your League account's RP balance, ready for the store whenever you choose. Riot treats the card as a cash code. The full amount goes to one game on one account, and partial redemption is not possible. Riot also states that cash codes never expire.
On the web page you choose the game during redemption. That matters for European multi-game cards. Riot announced in December 2020 that they redeem across League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra and VALORANT. Select League before you confirm, since the whole code goes to that one game.
Which server does my League card work on?
Only the server it was issued for. Riot's examples: cards from the US or Canada redeem on NA, and cards from Australia or New Zealand on OCE. Each Riot account is linked to one League region, such as NA, Europe West, Europe Nordic & East, Oceania or Brazil.
Switching server is a paid account transfer costing 2,600 RP, with a 90-day cooldown. Your remaining RP moves with you after that cost. So buy for the server you play on today. Take the US League card for NA, or the German League card for a euro account in Europe.
What if my League code is rejected?
Check three basics: no spaces, the right account and the right server. If League looks grayed out on the web page, the account you logged in to has never played it. Too many failed tries trigger a 24-hour wait.
A card scratched too hard, or a code that keeps failing, needs a ticket. Riot Player Support asks for the code, the store receipt, your Riot ID and your account email. Keep the card and receipt until the RP shows. Riot cannot help with a code already used on another account. If the card came from Gifts With Crypto, quote your order number in a message to [email protected].

No. Riot states that cash codes never expire, so a card can wait until you need RP. Promotional content codes are a different product and can expire.
Can I split one card between two accounts?
