Check the balance
On iberia.com/es/tarjeta-regalo/, open 'Consulta tu bono'. Enter the code and the linked email to see the remaining balance, expiry date and conditions.
Search a flight only
Book flights on iberia.com. Flight + hotel and flight + car bundles cannot be paid with a gift card.
Reach the payment screen
Fill in passenger details and continue until Iberia asks how you want to pay.
Enter the code
Type the gift card code in the payment screen. The card balance is subtracted from the trip total.
Pay the difference
Cover any amount above the card value with another payment method, then confirm the booking.
Can I spread an Iberia gift card over several trips?
Yes. Iberia lets you use the card one or more times until the amount runs out. A €200 card can pay a €120 fare now and €80 of a later ticket.
Two limits apply. Only one gift card can be redeemed per booking, and cards cannot be stacked with each other or with other promotions or discounts. If you hold several cards, Iberia can merge them into one code under certain conditions through 'Unifica tus bonos' on the same page.
Gift cards are not refundable, so plan to spend the balance.
How long does an Iberia gift card last?
One year. That year covers both buying the ticket and taking the flight. A trip booked in month eleven must also be flown before the expiry date. The date is printed on the card and shown in Iberia's 'Consulta tu bono' lookup.
The card is spent on Iberia's own website, iberia.com, and holds euros. Every version we sell, for Spain, Italy or Portugal, is a euro card.
What if Iberia rejects my gift card code?
Check these points before calling.
- Expired: look up the code in 'Consulta tu bono'. A trip flown after the expiry date cannot use the card.
- Package booking: flight + hotel or flight + car carts refuse gift cards. Book the flight on its own.
- Second card or discount code: remove the extra code. One gift card per booking, no promotions alongside.
