How to redeem a Hunkemöller gift card

Why does Hunkemöller refuse my gift card?

Hunkemöller's FAQ lists three reasons:

• No balance: the card may be empty. Check it on the gift card site.
• Not activated: a physical card ordered through the gift card site must be activated before use. Follow the email instructions or open 'Gift card activeren'.
• Unknown card or other error: contact Hunkemöller customer service.

Where do Hunkemöller refunds go?

Back onto the same gift card. Hunkemöller repeats this in almost every FAQ answer: keep the card safe, even after you have used it up. A return of lingerie paid with the card is credited to it.

The Dutch payments FAQ adds that if you paid with a gift card, any refund after a return always lands on that gift card. A Hunkemöller gift card cannot be exchanged for cash.

Which country's Hunkemöller card do I need?

The one for the webshop or stores the recipient uses. Hunkemöller sells cards through national gift card sites, and each FAQ names its own shop. The Dutch site points to hunkemoller.nl, the app and Dutch stores. The German site points to the German website and stores.

Danish and Swedish cards are loaded in kroner for those markets. Belgian and French cards are in euros.
