Quick answer
Go to the Gift Cards page of your country's HelloFresh site, such as hellofresh.com/gift, choose Redeem gift card, enter the code and select Redeem. Then log in or create an account, add a payment method, and pick recipes and a delivery date. The gift only works with the HelloFresh service of the country where it was bought.
Redeem a HelloFresh gift card step by step
Open the gift page
Visit the HelloFresh site of the card's country, for example hellofresh.co.uk/gift or hellofresh.de/gift, and choose Redeem gift card.
Enter the code
Type the code into the Enter code field and select Redeem.
Set up your account
Log in or create a HelloFresh account and add a payment method. The German site says it is not charged while you only use the gift value.
Pick recipes and a date
Choose recipes up to the card's value and a delivery date. You can change the date under My deliveries before the cut-off.
Already a subscriber?
In the US, existing customers apply the code at hellofresh.com/gift/redeem and order a single box, separate from their subscription.
Why does HelloFresh ask for a card if the gift pays for the box?
HelloFresh needs a payment method on file, but it only charges it in set cases. You pay if your order costs more than the gift, or if you add premium meals, add-ons or quick lunch options. US terms require recipients to create an account and share card details. The German site accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and PayPal.
Redeeming does not sign you up for weekly boxes. If credit is left over, it applies automatically to your next deliveries once you start a weekly subscription. In the US, a remaining balance stays on your account and never expires.
Can I use a HelloFresh gift card from another country?
No. Cards only work with the HelloFresh service where they were bought. US terms limit use to eligible goods in the United States ordered directly on the HelloFresh website. HelloFresh also says it does not yet support gifts for someone living in another country. For a box delivered in Britain, choose the UK HelloFresh gift card; for Germany, the German card.
What if my HelloFresh gift code does not work?
Check that you are on the right site: a UK code belongs on hellofresh.co.uk, not hellofresh.com. Remove any discount code first, because US terms say gift cards cannot be combined with promotional offers. If the recipient's email never arrived, HelloFresh suggests checking the spam folder.
US customers reach Customer Care at [email protected] or (646) 846-3663. In the UK, HelloFresh's contact page offers chat and a phone line on 020 7138 9055. Our own team answers for codes bought here: write to [email protected] and give the order number.
Frequently asked questions
Do HelloFresh gift cards expire?
No, in the US. Cards do not expire or lose value, and HelloFresh charges no activation, service or dormancy fees. Leftover balance stays on the recipient's account without expiring.
Does redeeming a HelloFresh gift card start a subscription?
No. HelloFresh says redeeming will not lead to weekly charges, and you do not need a subscription to redeem. You can start one later to use leftover credit, and stop it at any time.
Can I replace a lost HelloFresh gift card?
No. US terms say lost, stolen or destroyed cards will not be replaced. Cards are also non-refundable and cannot be moved to another account.
How do I buy a HelloFresh gift card with crypto?
Choose the country version, then pay its face value in Solana or another listed coin. Orders up to US$1,000 involve no KYC check, and the HelloFresh code is posted to your account within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
