Can I use a Glitter gift card on glitter.se?
Not at the moment. Glitter's Swedish FAQ says that, for now, you can only shop with gift cards in its physical stores. The Norwegian and Danish FAQs say the same about their online shops.
Glitter adds that it is working on a solution so customers can buy and pay with gift cards both in store and online. Until that launches, plan a store visit.
Which Glitter card should I buy?
The one for the country where the recipient visits Glitter stores. Each version holds a balance in its own currency: SEK for Sweden, NOK for Norway and DKK for Denmark.
Glitter keeps a separate balance page per country, such as the GlitterNO page for Norwegian cards linked from the Norwegian FAQ. That is another sign each card belongs to its own market.
How long does a Glitter gift card last?
Two years from the date of purchase. Glitter states this in its FAQs for Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Because the card is store-only, two years can pass quickly for someone without a Glitter nearby. Check the store list before you choose this gift.
