Book in the voucher's currency
Search tickets on eurostar.com and make sure the booking is priced in the same currency as your voucher.
Find the code
The 16-character code is in the e-voucher email. Search your inbox for 'Eurostar e-voucher' if needed.
Apply it at checkout
Enter the code on the checkout page and click 'Apply'.
Add more vouchers or pay the gap
Use several e-vouchers on the same booking, or pay any difference with another method.
Watch for the balance email
Eurostar emails you the remaining balance after booking. It stays on the voucher until the expiry date.
What can a Eurostar gift voucher pay for?
Train, hotel, Train + Hotel and travel insurance bookings of any value, but only at eurostar.com. The voucher cannot go towards the cost of an exchange or an upgrade on an existing booking.
The expiry date is the deadline for redeeming, not for travelling. You can use the voucher before it expires to pay for a trip that takes place afterwards.
Why is my Eurostar code not recognised?
Eurostar points to three common causes:
- Extra characters: copy-pasting can add stray spaces.
- Mixed-up characters: the number 0 and the letter O look alike.
- Wrong currency: a pound voucher will not apply to a euro booking, or the other way round.
If someone may have copied or stolen your voucher, call 0371 200 0640 right away. Any value not yet redeemed can be blocked and a new voucher issued. For a Eurostar voucher ordered through us, contact [email protected].
How long is a Eurostar voucher valid?
Twelve months from the date of purchase, with the expiry date shown on the voucher itself. Any balance left on the expiry date is not reimbursed, and vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
So buy the voucher in the currency of the trip: the United Kingdom version for bookings in pounds, or the France, Belgium or Netherlands version for bookings in euros.
