Which stores accept a Cotton On gift card?
In Australia, Cotton On, Cotton On Kids, Cotton On Body, Factorie, Typo and Supré, plus cottonon.com/AU. In New Zealand, Cotton On lists Cotton On, Cotton On Kids, Cotton On Body and Typo, plus cottonon.com/NZ.
The card is valid only in the currency of the country where it was bought. An Australian dollar card never converts to New Zealand dollars, so buy the version for the country where the recipient lives.
Why is my Cotton On card refused online?
In New Zealand, cards bought through a third party are not valid online. They start with the digits 6375, and they still work in stores.
Cards are also refused outside their country, and those used up show no balance. To check a balance, enter the card in the 'Redeem Gift Card' box at checkout; any credit is applied to the amount owing. Or send the number on the back of the card through 'Contact Us'. What happens to refunds and leftover value?
If you need a refund on an order paid partly or fully by gift card, Cotton On returns the value onto a gift card, never in cash. No change is given at the till.
The card is partially redeemable and has no expiry date, so leftover value simply waits for the next purchase. Treat it like cash: the Cotton On Group does not replace cards that are lost, stolen, damaged or used without your permission.
