Log in to your Almosafer account on the website or app. Wallet features need a signed-in account.
Verify your account
Confirm your mobile number with the one-time password it sends.
Open My Wallet
On the website it sits under My Account; in the app and mobile web it is under Profile.
Redeem the gift card
Choose Redeem a gift card and enter the code. The points join your Wallet balance.
Pay with Wallet at checkout
Pick your flight or hotel, select Wallet on the payment page and set how much to use. Pay any remainder by card.
Why can I not see my Almosafer points?
Most often because of the country setting. Almosafer ties Wallet points to a point of sale, naming Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain. Points from one point of sale cannot be used on another, and each has its own Wallet. Redeem with the app set to Saudi Arabia, switch it to Kuwait, and those points disappear from view.
Two other causes are common. You must be logged in when you book, because Almosafer cannot deduct Wallet points afterwards. And Wallet only shows up as a payment option when it holds a balance.
What can Almosafer Points pay for?
Bookings on Almosafer. The Wallet stores points that pay fully or partly for hotel and flight bookings, and Almosafer's account screen promises that redeemed gift cards let you pay less on bookings. On the payment page you choose how much to redeem, up to your balance.
Points cannot be cashed out and are not transferable. If a booking paid with Wallet points is cancelled, the refund returns to your Almosafer Wallet, after any cancellation charges and Almosafer fees are deducted.
Where do I check my balance and expiry dates?
In My Wallet, under My Account on the website or Profile in the app. The same screen lists the next set of points due to expire. Through Almosafer's call centre, branches or WhatsApp line, a travel advisor can also text the balance to your registered mobile number.
