Quick answer
Face value is the credit a gift card holds, such as US$50. Gifts With Crypto sells at face value, so the card price equals it, with no markup. The crypto amount is the face value converted on a 30-minute invoice, and the network fee is what your wallet pays the blockchain. No KYC applies up to US$1,000 per order. These 22 terms cover buying, paying and redeeming.
Buying a gift card
- Face value
The credit a card holds, in its own currency: US$50, €50 or £25. At Gifts With Crypto the price equals the face value.
- Markup
The amount a seller charges above face value. On 14 Oct 2026, crypto gift card sellers ranged from −3% to +11%; we charge 0%. See the fee index.
- Denomination
A value a card is sold in, such as the US$10, 15, 25, 50 and 100 Google Play US cards.
- Region lock
A brand rule that limits where a code works: by country of purchase, account country, currency or national site. See the region-lock table.
- Wallet currency
The currency of an account balance, such as a Steam Wallet. Steam redeems codes only in a wallet of the same currency.
- Billing currency
The currency a subscription bills you in. Netflix accepts a card from another country when its currency matches.
- No KYC
No identity check: no ID, selfie or proof of address. At Gifts With Crypto it applies to orders up to US$1,000. See no KYC.
Paying with crypto
- Invoice
The payment request for one order: coin, network, exact amount and address. Ours stays valid 30 minutes.
- Network
The blockchain a payment travels on. USDT exists on several; we accept Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20).
- TRC-20
The token standard on Tron. USDT TRC-20 needs 20 confirmations, about 1 minute. See USDT TRC-20.
- ERC-20
The token standard on Ethereum, used for USDT and USDC. Needs 12 confirmations, about 2.4 minutes. See USDT ERC-20.
- Stablecoin
A token designed to track a currency, such as USDT or USDC for the US dollar. You still send the exact amount on the invoice.
- Confirmation
A block added after your transaction. We need 2 for BTC, 20 for USDT TRC-20, 12 for ERC-20 and ETH, 1 for SOL and 6 for LTC.
- Network fee
What the blockchain charges to send a payment, paid by the sender. On 21 Oct 2026 it ranged from about US$0.0005 (SOL) to about US$2.14 (USDT TRC-20 without energy).
- Withdrawal fee
What an exchange charges to send crypto out. It can be higher than the network fee and may be deducted from the amount you type.
- TXID
The transaction ID that identifies a payment on the blockchain. Include it when you email support about a payment.
Receiving and redeeming
- My cards
The section of your Gifts With Crypto account where codes appear, within 24 hours of payment confirmation.
- Order reference
The ID of your order, shown on the order page and receipt. Quote it in every support email.
- Redemption
Entering a code on the brand's official page to add the credit to an account.
- Activation
The step that makes a code usable. Steam says retailer activation can take several hours after purchase.
- Steam Digital Gift Card
A gift bought on Steam and sent straight to a friend's Steam account. Different from a Steam Wallet code, which anyone can redeem.
- Refund
If we cannot deliver a paid order, we send the full order amount back in the coin you paid. See refunds.
